Payment Policy

BookMyStay accepts payments for selected bookings and services through online payment methods supported on the website. Public contact information for customer support is listed on bookmystay.travel, including the Lucknow office address, phone numbers, and email ID for booking-related communication.

1. Accepted payment modes
Depending on availability and integration, payments may be accepted through UPI, debit card, credit card, net banking, wallet, payment links, QR, or other supported methods made available through the payment gateway.

2. Razorpay payment gateway
BookMyStay may use Razorpay as a third-party payment processor for secure collection of online payments. When you make a payment on our website, you may be redirected to or processed through Razorpay’s payment flow and security systems.

3. Payment authorization
A transaction is considered successful only when it is authorized, captured where applicable, and reflected appropriately in our system. If your bank account is debited but you do not receive booking confirmation, your booking may still be pending verification, or the amount may be reversed/refunded depending on the transaction outcome.

4. Failed transactions
BookMyStay is not responsible for transaction failure caused by internet connectivity issues, bank downtime, UPI server issues, authentication problems, expired cards, incorrect details, insufficient balance, or gateway-side disruption. In such cases, users should first check with their bank or payment provider.

5. Security and fraud prevention
Users must use only authorized and legally owned payment instruments. BookMyStay reserves the right to decline, hold, or investigate transactions that appear suspicious, mismatched, duplicated, unusually high-risk, or inconsistent with standard booking behavior.

6. Verification
For fraud prevention, BookMyStay may request additional verification before final confirmation of a booking, including phone confirmation, ID verification, or payment proof.

7. Refund destination
All approved refunds will ordinarily be processed back to the same payment source used during the original transaction unless otherwise required by law or technically impossible due to closure/expiry of the payment source.

8. Payment records
Users should retain transaction IDs, booking IDs, invoices, and confirmation messages for future reference in case of refund requests, disputes, or support needs.
